<p>又曰:大司樂分樂而序之,以祭、以享、以祀,乃奏黃鍾,歌大呂,舞《雲門》,以祀天神;乃奏太簇,歌應鍾,舞《咸池》,以祭地祗;乃奏姑洗,歌南呂,舞《大卷》,以祀四望;乃奏蕤賓,歌黃鍾,舞《大夏》,以祭山川;乃奏夷則,歌小呂,舞《大護》,以享先妣;乃奏無射,歌夾鍾,舞《大武》,以享先祖。凡六樂者,文之以五聲,播之以八音。</p>

<p>又曰:凡六樂者,一變而致羽物及川澤之祗,再變而致羸物及山林之祗,三變而致鱗物及丘陵之祗,四變而致毛物及墳衍之祗,五變而致介物及土祗,六變而致象物及天神。</p>
