<p>司馬相如《琴歌》曰：鳳兮鳳兮歸故鄉，遨游四海索我皇。時來通遇無所將，何悟今夕升斯堂。有艶淑女在此房，室邇人遐毒我腸，何緣交接爲鴛鴦？</p>

<p>崔琦《四皓頌》曰：昔南山四皓者，蓋角里先生、綺里季、夏黃公、東園公是也。秦之博士，遭世暗昧，道滅德消，坑黜儒術，《詩》《書》是焚。於是四公退而作歌曰：「莫莫高山，深谷滅哉。曄曄紫芝，可以療饑。唐虞世遠，吾將何歸？駟馬高蓋，其憂甚大。富貴畏人兮，不如貧賤之肆志。」</p>

<p>繁欽箋與魏文帝曰：都尉薛訪車子年始十四，能喉囀引聲，與笳同音。白上呈見，果如其言。即日故共觀試，乃知天壤之所生，誠有自然之妙物也。潜氣內囀，哀音外激，大不抗越，細不幽散，聲悲舊笳，曲美常均。</p>

<p>《國史補》曰：李袞善歌于江外而名動京師。崔昭入朝，密載而至。乃邀致賓客，請弟一部樂及京師之名倡，以爲盛會。紿言表弟，請登末座。令袞披衣而出，滿座皆笑。少頃，命酒。昭曰：「請表弟歌。」座中又笑。及喉囀一發，樂人皆大驚，曰：「是李八郎也。」乃羅拜之。</p>

||
<p>《樂府雜錄》曰：踏搖娘者，生于隋末。河內有人醜貌而好酒，常自號郎中，醉歸必毆其妻。妻色美善歌，乃自歌爲怨苦之詞。河朔演其曲而被之管弦，因寫其夫妻之容。妻悲訴每搖其身，故號踏搖娘。近代優人頗改其制度，非舊旨也。</p>

<p>又曰：開元中，有人許和子者，本吉州永新縣樂家女也。開元末，進入宮，因以永新名之，籍于宜春院。旣美且惠，善歌，能變新聲。韓娥、李延年歿後，千載曠其人，至永新始繼其能。遇高秋朗月，台殿清虛，喉囀一聲，響傳九陌。明皇嘗獨召李謀吹笛，逐其歌，曲終管裂，其妙如此。一日，賜大赦于勤政樓，觀者數十萬衆，喧嘩聚語，莫得聞魚龍百戲之音。上怒，欲罷宴。中官力士奏請命永新出樓，歌一曲必可止喧，上從之。永新乃撩鬢舉袂，直奏慢聲。至是，廣場寂寂，若無一人。義者聞之血涌，愁者聞之腸絕。洎漁陽之亂，六宮星散，永新爲一士人所得。韋青避地廣陵，因月夜憑欄于小河上。忽聞舟中唱《水調》者，曰：「此永新故歌也。」乃登舟省之，因與永新對泣久之。青始晦其事，後士人卒與其母之京師，終于狹斜間。</p>

<p>又曰：大曆初，有才人張紅者，本與父唱歌丐于衢路，因過將軍韋青所居。<small style="color:var(--color-destructive--visited,#996666)" about="#mwt10" typeof="mw:Transclusion"><span style="color:transparent;font-size:0px">〈</span>在昭國坊南門也。<span style="color:transparent;font-size:0px">〉</span></small>青于看街窗中聞其歌喉寥亮，仍有美色，即納爲姬。其父亦舍于後戶，優給之。乃自傳其藝，穎悟絕倫。常有樂工自撰一曲，即古曲《長命西河女》也。加减其節奏，頗有新聲。未進間，先印可于青。青潜令紅于屏風後聽之，紅乃以小豆數合以記其節拍。樂工歌罷，青因入問紅何如。紅曰：「巳唱得矣。」青出給云︰「某有女弟子久曾唱，非新曲也。」即令隔屏唱之，一聲不失。樂工大驚異，遂請相見，嘆伏不已。兼云︰「此曲先有一聲不穩，今已正矣。」尋達上聽。翌日，召入宜春院，寵澤隆異。宮中號爲記曲娘子。尋爲才人。一日，內史奏韋青卒。上告紅，紅乃于上前嗚咽，奏云︰「妾本風塵丐者，一旦老父死有所歸，致身入內，皆自韋青，妾不忍忘其恩。」因一慟而絕。上嘉嘆久之，即贈昭儀。</p>

<p>又曰：韋青，本士人也。嘗自爲詩云︰「三代掌綸誥，一身能唱歌。」青官至金吾將軍。</p>

||
<p>《明皇雜錄》曰：唐玄宗自巴蜀回，因夜闌登勤政樓，憑欄南望，烟月滿目。上因自歌曰：「庭前琪樹已堪攀，塞外征人殊未還。」蓋盧思道之詞也。歌歇，上問：「有舊人乎？逮明爲我訪來。」翌日，力士潜求于里中，因召與同至，則果梨園子弟也。其夜上復與乘月登樓，左右惟力士及貴妃侍者紅桃在焉。遂命歌《凉州詞》，貴妃所制。上親禦玉笛爲之倚曲，曲罷相睹，無不掩泣。上因廣其曲。今《凉州》傳于人間者，益加怨切焉。</p>

<p>劉叔敬《異苑》曰：臨川聶包死數年，忽詣南豐相沈道襲共飲，其歌笑甚有倫次。每歌云︰「花盈盈，正聞行當歸，不聞死復生。」</p>

<p>祖台《志怪》曰：建康小吏曹著見廬山夫人，夫人命女婉出與著相見。婉見著欣悅，命婢瓊林令取琴出，婉撫琴歌曰：「登廬山兮鬱嵯峨，晞陽風兮拂紫霞。招若人兮濯靈波，欣良運兮暢牂柯。彈鳴琴兮樂莫過，雲龍會兮樂太和。」歌畢，婉便還去。</p>

<p>《搜神記》曰：淮南王安設厨宰，以俟賓客。正月上午，有八老公詣門求見，王曰：「郡蛾子復來也。」公知不見，乃更形爲八童子。王驚，見之，盛禮設樂以享八公，援琴而弦歌曰：「明明上天照四海兮，知我好之公來下兮；公將與餘生羽毛兮，升騰青雲蹈梁甫兮；觀見三光過北斗兮，驅乘風<span style="color: red; border: 1px solid red; BACKGROUND: pink" title="未填描述，請補上。" about="#mwt12" typeof="mw:Transclusion"><b><EFBFBD></b></span>使玉女兮。」今所謂《淮南操》是也。</p>

<p>《幽明錄》曰：勾章人至東野還，暮不至門，見路旁有小屋燈火，因投寄宿止。宿有一小女，不欲與丈夫共宿。呼鄰家女自伴，夜共彈琴箜篌。至曉，此人謝去，問其姓字，女不答，彈弦而歌曰：「連綿葛上藤，一援復一ㄌ。欲知我姓名，姓陳名阿登。」</p>

<p>又曰：吳縣費升爲九里亭吏，向暮見一女從郭中來，素衣哭入埭，向一新冢哭。曰暮不得入門，便寄亭宿。升作酒食，至夜，升彈琵琶令歌，女云︰「有喪儀，勿笑人也。」歌音甚媚。云︰「精氣感冥昧，所降若有緣。嗟我遘良契，寄忻宵夢間。」中曲云︰「成公從義起，蘭香降張磧。苟雲冥分結，纏綿在今夕。」下曲云︰「伫我風雲會，正俟今夕游。神交雖未久，中心已綢繆。」寢處向明，升去，顧謂曰：「且至禦亭。」女便驚怖。獵人至，群狗入屋，于床咬死，成大狸。</p>

<p>《搜神記》曰：吳王夫差小女名玉，悅童子韓重。韓重乃學于齊魯之間。臨去，屬其父求婚。王怒不與，女玉結氣亡，葬閶門之外。重三年歸，聞其死，哀慟。至玉墓所，玉忽見，重與言，乃左顧宛頸而歌曰：「南山有鳥，北山張羅。志欲從君，讒言孔多。悲結生疾，歿命黃壚。命之不造，冤如之何？羽族之長，名爲鳳凰。一日失雄，三年感傷。故見鄙姿，逢君輝光。身遠心近，何嘗暫忘。」</p>

<p>又曰：太康末，京洛始爲《折楊柳》之歌，有兵車辛苦之辭。後楊駿被誅，太后幽死，折楊柳之應也。</p>

<p>《續搜神記》曰：廬江杜謙爲諸暨令，縣西山下有一鬼，長三丈，著赭布褲布褶，在草中相張。又脫褶擲草上，作《懊惱歌》，百姓皆看之。</p>
