<p>董巴《漢與服志》曰：上古衣毛而冒皮，後世聖人易之以絲麻。觀翬翟之文、榮華之色，乃染帛以效之，始作五彩，成以爲服。黃帝堯舜垂衣裳，蓋取諸乾坤有文，故上衣玄而下裳黃。秦以戰國即天子位，滅去禮學，郊祀之服皆以初玄。漢承掌故，至顯示初服冕旒衣章以祀天地。養三老五更于三雍，三公九卿郊祀天地明堂，皆冠冕垂旒，衣裳玄上纁下，乘由備文日月星辰十二章，三公諸侯用山龍九章，九卿以下用華蟲七章，皆五彩衣裳。乘與，刺史、公候、九卿己下皆織成，陳留襄邑獻之。</p>
