<p>沈約《宋書》曰:晉平剌王休祐,文帝第十三子也。在荊州時,左右范景達善彈棋,上召之,休祐留不遣。上怒,詰責之。</p>
<p>《趙書》曰:冉閔收石遵,遵方與女子彈棋,兵至,殺之。</p>

<p>又曰:彈棋始自魏文帝宮內裝器戲也。文帝於此伎特妙,用手巾拂之,無不中者。有客自云能,帝使為之。客著葛巾拂棋,妙逾於帝。</p>
<p>魏文帝《典論》曰:余於他戲弄之事,少所喜;惟彈棋略盡其功,乃為之賦。昔京師先工有馬合鄉侯、東方安世安、張公子,常恨不得與彼數子者對。</p>
<p>《藝經》曰:彈棋,二人對局,黑白棋各六枚。先列棋相當。下呼,上擊之。</p>
<p>《彈棋經序》曰:彈棋者,仙家之戲也。昔漢武帝平西域,得胡人善蹴鞠者,蓋炫其便<small style="color:var(--color-destructive--visited,#996666)" about="#mwt8" typeof="mw:Transclusion"><span style="color:transparent;font-size:0px"></span>平聲。<span style="color:transparent;font-size:0px"></span></small>捷跳躍,帝好而為之。群臣不能諫,侍臣東方朔因以此藝進之,帝就舍蹴鞠,而上彈棋焉。習之者多在宮禁中,故時人莫得而傳。至王莽末,赤眉凌亂,西京傾覆,此藝因宮人所傳,故散落人間。及章帝御宇,好諸伎藝,此戲乃盛於當時。</p>
<p>《彈棋經後序》曰:自後漢沖、質已後,此藝中絕。至獻帝建安中,曹公執政,禁闌幽密,至於博弈之具,皆不得得妄置宮中。宮人因以金釵玉梳戲於妝奩之上,即取類於彈棋也。及魏文帝受禪,宮人所為,更習彈棋焉。當時朝臣名士,無不爭能,故帝與吳季量<small style="color:var(--color-destructive--visited,#996666)" about="#mwt9" typeof="mw:Transclusion"><span style="color:transparent;font-size:0px"></span>吳質,字季量。<span style="color:transparent;font-size:0px"></span></small>書曰:「彈棋,間設者也。」</p>
<p>又曰:彈棋者,雅戲也。非同乎五白梟橛<small style="color:var(--color-destructive--visited,#996666)" about="#mwt10" typeof="mw:Transclusion"><span style="color:transparent;font-size:0px"></span>梟橛并樗蒱彩。<span style="color:transparent;font-size:0px"></span></small>之數,不游乎紛競詆欺之間,淡薄自如,固趨名近利之人多不尚焉。蓋道家所為,欲習其偃亞導引之法,擊博騰擲之妙,以自暢耳。</p>
<p>又曰:唐順宗在春宮日,甚好之。時有吉達、高釴、崔同、楊願之徒,悉為名手。後有竇深、崔長孺、甄顒、獨孤遼,亦為亞焉。至於長慶之末,好事之家猶見有局尚多解者。</p>
<p>後漢蔡邕《彈棋賦》曰:夫張局陳棋,取法武備。因嬉戲以肄業,托歡宴以講事。設玆矢石,其夷如砥。釆若錦繢,平若停水。肌理光澤,滑不可履。乘色行巧,據險用智。</p>
<p>魏文帝《彈棋賦》曰:局則荊山妙璞,滑如柔荑。棋則玄木北干,桑樹西枝。象籌列植,下據雙螭。</p>
<p>王粲《彈棋賦》曰:文石為局,金碧齊精,隆中夷外,理致肌平。</p>
<p>晉傅玄《彈棋賦序》曰:漢武帝好蹴鞠。劉向以為蹴鞠勞人體,竭人力,非至尊所宜,乃因其體而作彈棋以解之。</p>

<p>《後魏書》曰:侍中游肇,性謙廉不競。曾撰《儒棋》,以表其志焉。肇述儒棋曰:「儒棋者,蓋博、弈之流,所以游思於文,亦猶投壺之習武也。故聖人因物設教,有實有權;情禮稱宜,有張有弛。孔子云:『不有博弈者乎?為之猶賢乎已,』若夫井公之對周穆,叔卿之接許由,此或示存,恐非有待。然則君子之處世也,豈遂耽於所適,徒費時日者哉!至於几杖槃鑒,猶載銘戒;矧乃諧神之器,而不加勸也?但古之為玩者,莫不競進其功,塞殺與樂,殊途異勢,并傳於時,未有以謙退為勝,通生為樂者。故因暇隙,聊復措意,此即儒棋之一名。蓋游藝之所統,本諸謙淨;詮名撰德,略依儒行;起舍遵道,軌法中庸。時然後玩,人不厭其游;让而後勝,人逾愜其負。矜勇所以知殘,沖遜以之彌隆。豈惟崇謙止競而已,諒亦階善全德之所因矣。積名會理,其殆庶幾;致泥之戒,寧不愧乎?」</p>

<p>《釋名》曰:擊壤,野老之戲也。</p>
<p>玄晏<small style="color:var(--color-destructive--visited,#996666)" about="#mwt49" typeof="mw:Transclusion"><span style="color:transparent;font-size:0px"></span>皇甫謐,號玄晏先生。<span style="color:transparent;font-size:0px"></span></small>曰:十七年,與從姑子果柳等擊壤於路。</p>
<p>《逸士傳》曰:堯時有壤父五十人擊壤於康衢。或有觀者曰:「大哉,堯之為君!」壤父作色曰:「吾日出而作,日入而息,鑿井而飲,耕田而食,帝何力於我哉!」</p>
<p>《風土記》曰:擊壤者,以木作之,前廣後銳,長可尺三四寸,其形如履。臘節,僮少以為戲,分部如擲博也。</p>
<p>《藝經》曰:擊壤,古戲也。</p>
<p>又曰:壤以木為之,前廣後銳,長尺四,闊三寸,其形如履。將戲,先側一壤於地,遙於三四十步,以手中壤敲之,中者為上。</p>
<p>吳盛彥《翁子擊壤賦》曰:論眾戲之為樂,獨擊壤之可娛。因風托勢,罪一殺兩。</p>

<p>王隱《晉書》曰:潁川、襄城二郡,班宣相會,累欲作樂。襄城太守責功曹劉子篤曰:「卿郡人不如潁川人相撲。」篤曰:「相撲下伎,不足以別兩國優劣;請使二郡更對論經國大理人物得失。」</p>
<p>《唐書》曰:裴矩,帝幸東都,矩以蠻夷朝貢者多,諷帝大徵四方奇技,作魚龍、曼延、角抵於洛邑,以夸諸戎,秋月而罷。</p>
<p>《西京雜記》曰:三輔人俗,每以赤刀為戲,漢朝亦取以為抵角之戲焉。</p>
<p>《漢武故事》曰:未央庭中設角抵戲。角者,六國所造也。秦并天下,兼而增廣之。漢興雖罷,然猶不都絕。至上,復釆用之。并四夷之樂,雜以奇幻,有若鬼神。角抵者,使角力相抵觸也。</p>

<p>《廣雅》曰:彈,行丸也。</p>
<p>《左傳》曰:晉靈公台上彈人,觀其避丸者。</p>
<p>《魏書》曰:齊王芳為帝,常喜以彈彈人。</p>
<p>《齊書》曰:桓榮祖善彈。登西樓見翔鵠,謂左右曰:「當生取之!」乃彈其兩翅,毛脫盡,墮地無傷。養之,毛生后,飛去。其妙如此。</p>
<p>《隋書》曰:長孫晟,洛陽人也。有鳶群飛,上謂晟曰:「公善彈,為我取之。」十發俱中,并應丸而落。</p>
<p>《吳越春秋》曰:陳音對越王曰:「弩生於弓,弓生於彈,彈生於古之孝子。古者人死,投之中野。孝子不忍父母為禽獸所食,則作彈以守之。」故古人之歌曰:「斷竹屬木,飛土逐肉。」</p>
<p>《西京雜記》曰:韓嫣好彈,常以金為丸,一日所失者十餘。長安為之語曰:「苦飢寒,逐金丸!」京師兒童每聞嫣出彈,輒隨之。望丸之所落,而輒拾取。</p>
<p>《莊子》曰:以隋侯珠彈千仞之雀,必笑所用至重,所取至輕。</p>
<p>又曰:見卵而求時夜,見彈而思鴞炙。</p>
<p>《世說》曰:潘岳少時,挾彈洛陽道,婦人見之,無不連手縈之。</p>
<p>《談藪》曰:齊蕭遙欣為童子時,見一小兒左右彈飛禽,未有不應弦而落者。遙欣謂之曰:「凡戲多端,何急彈!此鳥自雲中高翔,何關人事?」小兒感之,終身不捉。時少年士庶,競為此戲。欣之一說,此戲遂廢之。</p>
<p>又曰:梁王謂惠子曰:「先生直言,無得引喻。」惠子曰:「今有人不識彈,問彈狀如何,答曰:『彈狀如彈。』則能了否?」王曰:「不了。」又曰:「彈狀如弓,以竹為弦,可知之乎?」王曰:「知矣。」惠子曰:「夫說者欲人知之;無喻,則不知也。」王曰:「善!」</p>
<p>顧子《義訓》曰:人有善於射而高於顧子,顧子曰:「子之射雖百中,猶不若我之一彈。」或曰:「何以為然?」顧子曰:「子之所射,老狸之皮耳;我之所彈,彈狐之心!」</p>
<p>《潛夫論》曰:懷丸挾彈,攜手遨游,外不足防寇盜,內不足禁鼷鼠。</p>

<p>晉李秀《四維賦序》曰:四維戲者,衛尉贄侯所造也。畫紙為局,截木為棋。取象一原,分而為二,准陰陽之位,擬剛柔之策,而變動無為,生乎其中。</p>

<p>周武帝造象戲,王褒為《象經序》曰:一曰天文,以觀其象天,日月星辰是也;二曰地理,以法其形地,水火木金土是也;三曰陰陽,以順其本。陽數為先,本於天;陰數為後,本於地是也。四曰時令,以政其序,東方之色青,其餘三色,例亦如之是也。五曰算數,以通其變,俯仰則為天地日月星,變通則為水火金木土是也。六曰律呂,以宣其氣,在子取未,在午取丑是也。七曰八卦,以定其位,至震取兌,至離取坎是也。八曰忠孝,以惇其教,出則盡忠,入則盡孝是也。九曰君臣,以事其禮,不可以貴凌賤,直而為曲,不可以卑畏尊、隱而無犯是也。十曰文武,以率其務,武修七德,文表四教是也。十一曰禮儀,以制其則,居上不驕,為下盡敬,進退有度可法是也。十二曰觀德,以考其行,定而後求,求而後取,時然後言,樂然後笑是也。或外廷以報言,義存遷善;或黜退以貶過,事在懲惡。或以沈審為貴,正其瞻視;或以徇齊為功,明其糾察。得失表於隆替,在賤必申,怠敬彰於勸沮,處尊思屈。片善崇於拱璧,一言逾於華袞。</p>

<p>《續搜神記》曰:夏侯綜為庾安西參軍,說常見鬼乘車騎馬滿道,與人無異。常與人載行,忽牽人語,指道上一小兒云:「此兒正爾大病!」須曳,此兒果病,殆死。其母聞之,請綜。綜云:「無他,汝兒向於道中擲塗,<small style="color:var(--color-destructive--visited,#996666)" about="#mwt56" typeof="mw:Transclusion"><span style="color:transparent;font-size:0px"></span>塗蓋磚也。<span style="color:transparent;font-size:0px"></span></small>誤中一鬼腳;鬼瞋,故病汝兒耳。但以酒飯貽鬼,即差。」母如言,兒即愈。</p>
<p>《藝經》曰:以磚二枚,長七寸,相去三十步,立為標。各以磚一枚,方圓一尺,擲之。主人持籌隨多少,甲先擲破,則得乙籌,後破則奪先破者。</p>
